Indonesian football observer, Mohamad Kusnaeni, believes that Saddil Ramdani’s exclusion from the Indonesian national team squad for the 2023 Asian Cup is normal. The man who is familiarly called Bung Kus said that the Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae-yong, definitely decided this because of the team’s needs.
Bung Kus asked the public not to get too excited about Saddil’s removal. He said that the removal of this 25 year old winger was definitely due to Shin Tae-yong’s careful calculations.
“Player exclusion is normal. STY will definitely decide based on the team’s needs,” said Bung Kusnaeni to MNC Portal Indonesia, Saturday (13/1/2024).

Bung Kus believes that Shin Tae-yong wants to strengthen the Indonesian National Team’s midfield. Considering the strong opponents that the Garuda Squad will face, like it or not he has to leave out Saddil because he is already quite a capable player in the attack line.
“Maybe the midfield needs more strength because our opponents are stronger. Meanwhile on the wings we already have many choices,” explained Bung Kus.
