Suara.com – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) held a coordination meeting with representatives of each of the three presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs at Building C1 KPK, Newsdelivers.com, Wednesday (10/1/2023).
The meeting was to discuss the technical agenda for Strengthening Anti-Corruption for State Administrators with Integrity (Paku Integritas) which will be held by the KPK by inviting three presidential and vice-presidential candidates on January 17 2024.
“In the technical coordination meeting, the concept of activities and technical aspects of organizing the event was explained,” said KPK Prevention Spokesperson, Ipi Maryati, in a statement received by Suara.com.
Apart from discussing the technical implementation, the Corruption Eradication Commission and candidate candidate representatives also discussed the substance of the Integrity Paku material.
“What is hoped will be elaborated by each candidate pair as a form of commitment in efforts to eradicate corruption,” said Ipi.
Previously, the Head of the Corruption Eradication Commission’s News Department, Ali Fikri, said that this activity was part of the Anti-Corruption Strengthening program for Organizers with Integrity (Paku Integritas).
On the agenda, three presidential and vice presidential candidates, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iksandar, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD were asked to convey their commitment to eradicating corruption.
“Each pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates expressed their commitment regarding eradicating corruption. And ended with the signing of an integrity pact, of course in the context of eradicating corruption,” explained Ali.
Apart from inviting the three candidate pairs, the agenda will also be attended by the Indonesian KPU and Bawaslu.
“For your information, in 2023, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) has also carried out more or less, there are 121 participants who have taken part in this. Among them are the Ministry of ATR/BPN, then PUPR, BUMN, Ministry of Religion, Ministry of Education and Culture, as well as the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs,” explained Ali.
