Suara.com – Spokesperson for the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, said that the term digital downstream presented by Gibran Rakabuming Raka was more academic than ‘slepetnomics’ promoted by Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin.
Dahnil made this statement in response to criticism from parties regarding the statement by vice presidential candidate number 2 regarding digital downstreaming.
“Yesterday, for example, when Mas Gibran used the term digital downstreaming, he was criticized, ‘oh where is there the term digital downstreaming’. Is it true that the term ‘slepetonomics’ exists? No,” said Dahnil at the book review event “Defense Politics” in Kebayoran Baru, Newsdelivers.com South, Friday (5/1/2024).
Dahnil then emphasized that digital downstreaming as stated by Gibran was more academic. He explained at the same time the meaning of the terms given by Gibran.
“This (digital downstream) is better and more academic, digital downstream. That means we want to encourage digitalization in our country, including in the defense sector, our term is DNA, Device Network and Application, which is our own,” said Dahnil.
Previously, vice presidential candidate number 1, Muhaimin Iskandar, mentioned the term ‘slepetnomics’ when giving a closing statement in the vice presidential debate on Friday (22/12/2023).
So what is ‘slepetnomics’ proposed by Cak Imin? Check out the complete information below.
Initially, Cak Imin said that the sarong was a symbol of equality and justice. Then, Cak Imin explained that the Indonesian government’s current economic policy does not have the courage to realize justice and side with the community.
“The sarong is soft, but in the hands of a good person it can become slippery due to injustice and cheating,” he said.
Reflecting on this problem, Cak Imin coined the term ‘slepetnomics’ which he called a solution to national economic problems.
Slepetnomic Economic Ideas
He also claims that ‘slepetnomic’ is an economic idea that has been tested by experts and is based on inner experience and taste.
Cak Imin explained that the ‘slepetnomic’ solution is aimed at cutting the budget for projects that only benefit a few people and actually make society miserable.
“In the future, projects that suck up so much people’s money just to satisfy certain tastes, we have to be slow,” said Cak Imin.
Furthermore, the budget cuts will be used to equalize urban and rural development in Indonesia.
Cak Imin also explained that the solution through ‘slepetnomic’ is that there are no longer any business actors who will participate in making laws and regulations that only benefit their party.
“With ‘slepetnomics’ we ensure that Indonesia’s economic development is carried out using the heart and the brain,” he said.
