Suara.com – Vice Presidential candidate number 1, Anies Baswedan, admitted that it would not be a problem if the two panelists in the January 7 2024 presidential candidate debate were teaching staff at the Defense University (Unhan).
According to him, the public can objectively assess the candidates taking part in the debate.
“For me, it’s not that big of a problem, for me, yes. After all, in the end what is being discussed are things that we all have to respond to objectively,” said Anies in Tasikamalaya, West Java, Thursday (4/1/2024).
The former Governor of DKI Newsdelivers.com claims that he has been asked various questions more often at the recent Urging Anies event. Therefore, having two panelists from the Defense University is not a problem for the former Governor of Newsdelivers.com.
“Let’s face it, we are also facing the people under pressure from Anies, especially the panelists,” said Anies.
Different from Muhaimin
Previously, vice presidential candidate number 1, Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin, requested that the two panelists in the January 7 2024 presidential candidate debate from IDU, namely Kusnanto Anggoro and Marsetio, be replaced.
“Yes, frankly, I protest,” said Cak Imin in Garut, West Java, Thursday (4/1/2024).
Because Cak Imin views that the two panelists come from educational institutions under Prabowo Subianto who is the Minister of Defense (Menhan).
Meanwhile Prabowo is one of the participants in the upcoming debate.
“Because it interferes with objectivity, because whatever Defense University is under Pak Prabowo, the Minister of Defense,” he said.
Therefore, Cak Imin asked for the two panelists to be replaced. He hopes that his protest can be heard by the Indonesian KPU.
“Because of that, I protested, thankfully it could be replaced,” he explained.
