Suara.com – DKI Newsdelivers.com Provincial Government (Pemprov) officials have received a number of new cars to be used for official purposes. The use of this new four-wheeled vehicle was only recently discovered to coincide with the new year 2024.
Based on Suara.com’s monitoring, there were five new cars belonging to DKI officials parked at the leadership meeting (rapim) chaired by Acting DKI Governor Heru Budi Hartono in the courtyard of DKI City Hall, Wednesday (27/12/2023).
It can be seen that all the black cars are of the same type. If you look closely, these cars are the latest generation of the legendary Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix hybrid model.
Head of the DKI Newsdelivers.com Environmental Service (DLH), Asep Kuswanto, confirmed that the car belonged to him. The Heads of Regional Work Units (SKPD) who attended the meeting also used the same vehicle.
“Yes, they are all the same. All department heads, not just me. They are all the same (type of car), only the number plates are different,” said Asep.
Based on information circulating, the Innova Zenix has an on-road price in DKI Newsdelivers.com in the range of IDR 458 million to IDR 614 million.
Previously, the DKI Newsdelivers.com Provincial Government planned to buy 21 electric cars for official vehicles in 2023. The budget for one car reached IDR 800 million.
Head of the DKI Newsdelivers.com Regional Asset Management Agency (BPAD), Reza Pahlevi, said that the funds for the electric car procurement came from the DKI Newsdelivers.com Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) for the 2023 fiscal year.
“This year, we will procure 21 electric cars first, using the 2023 (DKI APBD),” said Reza when confirmed, Tuesday (21/2/2023).
Regarding the brand of car he will buy, Reza is reluctant to reveal it. However, he admitted that the budget for purchasing this electric car was quite expensive.
“The budget is very large, almost IDR 800 million per unit. (The brand) can’t be mentioned,” he said.

Later, the electric car will be used by DKI Newsdelivers.com Provincial Government officials. Starting from the Governor, Regional Secretary, Assistant Regional Secretary, Inspector, to the Head of the DKI Newsdelivers.com Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda).
To implement the use of electric official cars, his party will submit a revision to the Regional Head Regulation (Perkada) regarding the procurement of Operational Service Vehicles (KDO) to be signed by the Acting Governor of DKI Heru Budi Hartono.
He said the policy of purchasing electric cars was carried out because the old vehicles were already old. The purchase process will be through auction by the State Auction Office.
“The car used by the SKPD (regional work unit) today has expired, but it will be written off later. Then an auction will be held through the State Auction Office,” he concluded.
