The CPNS fraud case that ensnared Olivia Nathania alias Oi, Nia Daniaty’s daughter, is still continuing. In fact, Nia Daniaty was also accused of being involved in the fake CPNS case.
Nia Daniaty finally opened her voice regarding the accusation that she was involved in the CPNS fraud worth IDR 8.1 billion. Otto Hasibuan, Nia Daniaty’s attorney, denied that his client was involved in the case.
“Nia Daniaty herself doesn’t know anything, has nothing to do with this case. But from the facts of the trial I saw that Nia was also named as a co-defendant. So the first defendant is Oi (Nia Daniaty’s daughter), the second, if I’m not mistaken, is her husband, then Nia Daniaty defendant,” said Otto Hasibuan, Nia Daniaty’s attorney when met at the Peradi Office in the Slipi area, West Newsdelivers.com, Thursday (21/12).
“But in the decision there is no verdict or any punishment against Nia Daniaty,” he continued.
Otto Hasibuan suspects that Nia Daniaty was involved in this case because of her big name in the world of entertainment. He felt that bringing Nia Daniaty into this case would make Oi depressed.
“Perhaps Nia Daniaty is famous, so bringing her into this case might be a pressure for Oi and for Nia too so that she will bear and pay for the existing problems,” said Otto Hasibuan.
“But we have to know, we can’t charge him,” he continued.
Otto Hasibuan also asked that Nia Daniaty not be involved in the Oi case. The reason is, Oi is an adult and already has a husband.
“Oi, it’s Nia’s daughter, but she has a husband, she’s independent. So the legal action is not against Nia, and neither are her parents,” he stressed.
Even so, Otto Hasibuan said that his party would not take legal steps regarding NIa Daniaty being dragged into this case.
“He was never punished for what he did, what Nia did was just to inform him. Now I as a lawyer only protect him, so that other people don’t try to do evil to him, because he has nothing to do with this case, don’t terrorize anyone.” bother him,” he concluded.
