Suara.com – Xiaomi has announced that it will release HyperOS in the first quarter of 2024 with at least five Xiaomi cellphones that will experience the HyperOS update.
HyperOS will soon replace MIUI on several Xiaomi devices. This makes many users wonder about the compatibility of this new system with all the applications on their cellphones.
HyperOS essentially implements a greater role in artificial intelligence (AI), which will ultimately update the interface and appearance as well as the functionality of certain elements of the system such as the control center, lock screen and several other applications.
But according to Gearrice, HyperOS is not a new system, but just a new layer of customization.
Like MIUI, HyperOS is based on Android. HyperOS is nothing more than a customization layer that simply changes the interface, prioritizes certain processes, and even implements its own applications.

Therefore, HyperOS will be compatible with all applications that are used on Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco because it is still based on Android and also continues to use the Google Play Store application store.
In other words, the cellphone used by the user will remain the same even though the software has a different appearance. It will get performance improvements with more optimized customization layers than MIUI.
In recent years, MIUI has become a burden for Xiaomi due to many unfixed bugs and a fairly boring design.
Therefore, users do not need to worry about HyperOS compatibility with all the applications on Xiaomi phones.
However, the HyperOS update will not be available for all Xiaomi devices. Recently, Xiaomi has announced which devices will receive the initial HyperOS update globally.
These devices are Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13T Pro, Xiaomi 13T, Poco F5 5G, Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12s and Xiaomi Pad 6.
If users want to get a HyperOS update, they should first check whether the device they are using has the latest operating system update.
