Suara.com – Spokesperson for the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Hasan Nasbi, said that all presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs have a chance of winning one round in the 2024 presidential election. However, he claims that pair number 2 has the greatest chance.
Hasan referred to Prabowo-Gibran’s electability in a number of survey institutions. According to him, the average electability level for Prabowo-Gibran is 35-46 percent. Meanwhile, Anies-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar-Mahfud only had around 20 percent.
“If we talk about chance, in my opinion there is an 85-90 percent chance of one round for Prabowo-Gibran. Can the Anies pair go one round? Yes, but the chances are smaller because the numbers are still small. Can Mr Ganjar do it? “Of course you can, but the chances are smaller because the numbers are still small,” Hasan told reporters, Tuesday (19/12/2023).
Hasan also hopes that the 2024 presidential election contest will only last one round. The reason is so that arguments and bad thoughts such as spreading fake news or hoaxes to bring down the opposing party do not drag on.
“What makes me sad is that previously friends who claimed to be victims of hoaxes are now perpetrators of hoaxes. “Many of Pak Jokowi’s supporters who were previously victims of hoaxes have now switched to supporting Mas Ganjar as the perpetrator of their hoaxes,” he said.
One example of this hoax, continued Hasan, was related to the video of Gibran’s statement regarding the free lunch and milk program which was cut and distributed on social media.
In the video circulating on social media, Gibran seems to explain that the free milk program has been enjoyed by 400 million children. So the statement by the eldest son of President Joko Widodo or Jokowi is considered by the public to be inconsistent with the population in Indonesia.
In fact, according to Hasan Gibran, at a consolidation event in Sentul, Bogor, last Sunday (10/12/2023), he explained that the free milk program already exists in 76 countries and is enjoyed by 400 million children.
“The first hoax was when Gibran didn’t know the data about free meals benefiting 400 million. Even though there were only 200 million citizens, because this video had been cut,” he concluded.
