BEKASI – Indonesian National Team Coach Shin Tae-yong stated that there was no problem with Pratama Arhan leaving the first caste team in the Japanese League (J1 League), Tokyo Verdy. Because, the player’s career journey does not stop there and must develop.
As is known, the Indonesian national team player spent two years at Tokyo Verdy. However, Pratama Arhan only got the chance to play four times.
Shin Tae-yong said he fully supports the steps taken by the player from Blora to develop his career. Because, in his opinion, Pratama Arhan needs to play more minutes.
“I hope that players who move anywhere can play in their team,” said Shin Tae-yong in Bekasi, Thursday (14/12/2023).
The trainer from South Korea said that two years was enough for Pratama Arhan there. He confirmed that it was not easy for this player to break into the team’s main squad.
“He almost didn’t play in Tokyo Verdy,” he said.
Shin Tae-yong said Pratama Arhan must ensure he gets more of the best hours at his new club. So, the player has to work harder to immediately adapt to his new team.
“I think it’s a good choice if he moves and can play straight away,” he said.
