Suara.com – PT Semesta Bolo Transindo, or PO Sembodo officially reported the founder of PO Mahendra Transport Indonesia (MTI), Rian Mahendra, and the Director of MTI, Devi Marissa to the police regarding fraud and embezzlement. The report was submitted by the Main Director of PO Sembodo, Bambang Winarto, on November 16 2023 with number LP/B/6899/XI/2023/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA.
Bambang Winarto said that Rian Mahendra and Devi Marissa did not fulfill all the promises they had mutually agreed upon, including payment for the buses that had been handed over by PO Sembodo to MTI, profit sharing, vehicle component costs, etc.
Apart from that, Rian Mahendra suddenly disappeared and could not be contacted. Although PO Sembodo initially tried to resolve the problem amicably, when there was no response, the decision was made to make a report to the police.
Through his official statement, he also said that there was no good faith from Rian Mahendra, so his party decided to report the person concerned.
PO Sembodo’s lawyer explained that the cooperation between PO Sembodo and PO MTI was established after long discussions. Four buses were handed over by PO Sembodo to MTI, which at that time had nothing, including the head office and vehicles.
PO MTI agreed to pay a regular deposit of IDR 50-60 million per bus per month to PO Sembodo and promised a 49 percent share to Sembodo.
However, after the initial launch in June 2023, it was claimed that PO MTI had not fulfilled the agreement, and Rian Mahendra was even said to have run away and disappeared. It is also claimed that the GPS tracking on the PO MTI bus was removed so that it would not be tracked by Sembodo.
Before reporting to the police, PO Sembodo sent two summons to PT MTI on 4 and 20 October 2023, but did not receive a response from Rian. detikOto has tried to contact Rian Mahendra to get a response, but until this news was published, there had been no response from the party concerned.
