JAKARTA – The Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information has once again successfully completed the HUB.ID Accelerator program. In fact, one of the startups managed to obtain funding of up to IDR 60 billion.
In the HUB.ID Alumni Talks event which was held on Thursday (30/1/2023), Damayanti Karina Putri as PIC of HUB.ID Accelerator revealed that this achievement was achieved by the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) start-up company, Kecilin.id .
The startup, which provides compression technology using modern technology models, has succeeded in obtaining pre-series A funding worth USD 4 million or the equivalent of IDR 60 billion from a number of investors with unknown names.
“Kecilin.id succeeded in obtaining pre-series A funding worth IDR 60 billion led by Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI) with other investors namely Provident Growth, BNI Ventures, and an old investor who returned to participate, namely Arkana,” he said.
Bisma Manda as CEO & Co-Founder of Kecilin.id revealed that HUB.ID Accelerator provides a strong mentality and networking for startups. Thanks to this crucial capital, Startups can progress and develop to advance Indonesia.
“By joining Kecilin.id in the HUB.ID Accelerator 2022 program, it will really help to achieve big Startup dreams with its support in bringing together business partners and investors,” he explained.
