Erling Haaland became the fastest player to score 50 goals in the Premier League. This success made the Manchester City striker successful in surpassing the record of former Manchester United player, Andy Cole.
Haaland increased his goal tally to 50 in the Premier League after Man City drew 1-1 against Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium, Saturday (26/11/2023). The player with the back number 9 only needed 48 appearances to complete his goal tally.
This record was previously held by Andy Cole, scoring 50 goals in 65 appearances in the Premier League. Amazingly, Haaland broke the record of a city rival legend at the age of 23.
“This feels special. I am so grateful to be surrounded by amazing teammates and staff who inspire me to improve every day. It is an honor to play for this club!” Haaland wrote on his personal Twitter (X) social media account.
Based on Squawka’s calculations, the majority of Haaland’s 50 goals were scored using his left foot, which is his strongest foot. In total, Haaland scored 33 goals with his left foot.
While using his right foot, Haaland scored six goals. Haaland, who is skilled in aerial duels, also managed to score 10 goals via headers or headers.
Interestingly, Haaland has also scored a goal using his thigh once. Haaland’s predatory instincts are now increasingly feared by his rivals.
