Suara.com – The Nusantara Capital Authority provided information regarding the list of local and foreign investors who will build their businesses in IKN. This statement follows President Joko Widodo’s statement regarding the absence of foreign investors entering IKN.
Deputy for Funding and Investment at the IKN Authority, Agung Wicaksono, explained that the meaning of President Joko Widodo’s words was the difference in status between local investors and foreign investors. The reason is that foreign companies in IKN investments have the status of local investor partners.
“So if foreign investors have not yet entered, in fact if we may detail the President’s statement, foreign investors have not yet entered as their own investors, but as partners of domestic companies, that has already happened,” said Agung in an online press conference, Monday (20/11/ 2023).
Agung gave examples of collaborative projects between local and foreign investors, including Hotel Nusantara, Swiss Hotel.
