SEPANG – Francesco Bagnaia will race in the 2023 Malaysia MotoGP from first position after winning pole position in the qualifying session, Saturday (11/11/2023). The Ducati Corse racer recorded a time of 1 minute 57.491 seconds.
Bagnaia managed to take the leading position from Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac) at the end of qualifying session 2 (Q2). Martin had to settle for starting the sprint race and the main race behind Bagnaia.
Meanwhile, Enea Bastianini finished third behind Martin. The most interesting concern is that Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) fell again while appearing in qualifying session 1 (Q1).
