One of the awards that Gwyneth Paltrow won was when she won the Oscar for Best Actress for her role in the film Shakespeare In Love.
Unfortunately, the ex-wife of Coldplay singer Chris Martin decided to retire and chose to take a break from the world of film.
The woman, who is now 51 years old, decided to retire because she felt tired of the burden and life as an actress.
“When I act, I really run out of steam. When the flywheel starts to kick in, I make three to five films a year,” said Gwyneth Paltrow as quoted by Bazaar on Thursday (9/11).
“I really got to the point where even the little things, like sitting in the van on the way to the set, doing makeup and everything, I really didn’t know if I could bear it,” she continued.
However, on one occasion, it was revealed that there was one name of actor who could make Gwyneth Paltrow return to acting and come out of retirement.
The actor in question turns out to be Robert Downey Jr, who acted opposite Gwyneth Paltrow in the film Iron Man.
It is recorded that Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey Jr have played the roles of Pepper Potts and Tony Stark in seven MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) films for more than ten years.
Gwyneth Paltrow has now decided to retire from acting.
Even so, Gwyneth Paltrow admitted that Robert Downey Jr. was the figure who might be able to make her return to the world of films.
“It would be very difficult for me to do any acting right now, just because of my job.” said Gwyneth Paltrow quoted from Entertainment Tonight.
“But I think Robert Downey Jr. could probably always get me back,” he concluded.
