On Sunday (5/11/23), Monas was filled with people taking action to defend Palestine. Many of them are public figures, including artists. One of them was Fenita Arie who came with her husband, Arie Untung, and their two children. (Instagram @fenitarie)
The artist who was also present at the action to defend Palestine was Kartika Putri. Habib Usman bin Yahya’s wife wore black clothes with a headscarf patterned with the Palestinian flag. In a post on Instagram, Kartika wrote, “We must make a move, no matter how small, it means a lot. Don’t stop spreading news about Palestine. The beautiful artist Dinda Hauw also took part in the action to defend Palestine at Monas. He came with several other friends. Public figure, Najwa Shihab, has a unique way of supporting Palestine in this defense action. Najwa together with the CEO of Kitabisa, Vikra Ijas, distributed 1,000 free watermelons to participants in the Defend Palestine Action and people who took part in CFD.
