The Police Supervision Agency and the Prosecutor’s Office of Vlora have investigated the actions of the state police in this case, leading to the suspension of 2 employees, deputy commissioner Ervis Cipa and Ornela Hajrulla.
Interior Minister Taulant Balla reacted on social networks to the suspension of two police officers, stating that “the case of sexual violence and inciting the use of narcotics against a girl in Vlora was a serious event, for which justice must do its duty at the level of the expectations of the general public opinion”.
“The delay in carrying out full investigative actions from the first moment is inexcusable and even more serious is cooperation with the perpetrators”, says Balla.

Meanwhile, in the council of the municipality of Vlora, some women councilors were asked to take a stand by signing a resolution against violence against women and girls.
