Shireen Sungkar and Teuku Wisnu taught their three children, Adam, Hawwa, and Shafiyyah, to always apply religious values in their lives, Beauties. On one occasion, Shireen even said that she had taught a halal lifestyle to her children.
According to Shireen, introducing children to the concept of halal must be done in a happy way. Children in general do not understand the concept of sin. Shireen said that it would be more effective to explain the benefits obtained if children do a practice.
“Don’t give children threats by saying what their sins are. The issue of hell and sin is not taught that early. Children must be given things that make them happy,” said Shireen.
On a different occasion, Teuku Wisnu admitted that his children were also starting to be taught to pray five times a day and recite the Koran. However, their three children still need to be reminded and monitored.
“Adam is 9 years old now. God willing, now when he prays fardhu prayers, he prays. Sometimes there are times when it’s really different, for example, what are you playing, are you already calling to prayer, sometimes you like to go too far if you don’t remember it, so we still have to remember it,” he explained.
