BURIRAM – Jorge Martin won pole position after being the fastest in the 2023 Thailand MotoGP qualification at the Buriram Circuit, Saturday (28/10/2023). This is the fourth pole position in the last six races.
This success at least gives Martin the opportunity to reduce the gap with Francesco Bagnaia at the top of the 2023 MotoGP standings.
In qualifying for the 2023 Thailand MotoGP, Martin successfully recorded a time of 1 minute 29.287 seconds. He was faster than Luca Marini (second) and Aleix Espargaro (third).
Meanwhile, Francesco Bagnaia, as the temporary leader of the drivers’ standings, had to settle for sixth place after recording a time of 1 minute 29.527 seconds. The reigning MotoGP champion was terrorized by the Marquez brothers, who were trailing in seventh and eighth place.
