Participation in tree planting and donating 500 tree seedlings is a form of Astra’s commitment to supporting the policies and initiatives of the DKI Newsdelivers.com Provincial Government to reduce the impact of extreme weather in DKI Newsdelivers.com.
“Thank you to Astra for helping the government to plant trees in the Nagrak Flats area. Hopefully tree planting can continue to be carried out every month,” said Heru Budi Hartono, Acting Governor of DKI Newsdelivers.com.
“Astra always supports the government’s efforts to increase green open space arrangements in various areas in DKI Newsdelivers.com to reduce the impact of extreme weather in DKI Newsdelivers.com. In the future, it is hoped that green open space areas will become positive facilities that can be utilized by the entire community,” explained Riza Deliansyah, Chief of Corporate Astra Affairs.
Previously, tree planting had been carried out in two areas, namely the Pulo Gadung Industrial Area City Forest, East Newsdelivers.com, and Casamora Gardens, South Newsdelivers.com. The types of trees planted are pule, bungur, flamboyan, sapodilla and spathodea trees.
In total, Astra has donated 500 trees, and the tree planting series will continue together with the Ministry of the Environment of the Republic of Indonesia and the Provincial Government of DKI Newsdelivers.com.
In addition to RTH’s contribution to reducing the impact of extreme weather in DKI Newsdelivers.com, Astra has facilitated free emissions tests for its customers’ vehicles at a number of Astra dealer workshops in the DKI Newsdelivers.com area from 4 September to 31 December 2023.
There are 45 Astra dealer workshops integrated with the DKI Newsdelivers.com Environmental Service (DLH) spread across a number of points, and can provide free emission tests for Astra customers’ vehicles.
