Thousands of human lives have been lost, both from the Palestinian and Israeli sides since the two attacked each other in recent days. Israel, which declared an open declaration of war after receiving attacks from the Hamas group, has not stopped attacking Palestine to this day.
Apart from this incident, apparently there are countries that support Palestine, even though they have good relations with Israel.
There are at least 12 countries that support Palestine, but are related to Israel. All these countries are divided into three groups related to Israel.
The first group is countries that have been at war with Israel, namely Turkey, Jordan and Egypt.
Turkey was the first Muslim-majority country to recognize the state of Israel in 1949. Even though Turkish-Israeli relations had deteriorated, in 2022 diplomatic relations between the two countries have been restored.
Jordan became one of Israel’s vital partners, even though in 1948 the two of them went to war. Meanwhile, Egypt made a treaty agreement with Israel in 1994 after technically being at war in 1948.
The second group includes countries that normalized relations with Israel in 2020 through the Abraham Accords mediated by the United States. The countries associated with Israel in the Abraham Accords are Morocco, Sudan, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
Meanwhile, the third group is countries that established relations with Israel through formal relations shortly after their independence in 1991. Among them are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan which have relations with Israel.
So, that’s a map of the relations between several countries that have good relations with Israel, but support the Palestinian struggle.
