Newsdelivers.com –
Buying premium quality rice in modern retail is limited to two bags per day for 5 kilogram packages. This is done so that all communities are equally divided.
The Alfamart outlet in the Sunter area, North Newsdelivers.com, is known to have imposed restrictions on purchasing premium quality rice. They limit two bags per day. This restriction applies to all types of premium rice.
However, there is no further information regarding these restrictions. However, one retail employee confirmed the restrictions.

“Yes, it is limited. “Here, there is a maximum of two bags a day per receipt of all types of premium rice,” he said, quoted from the detik.com page, Friday (6/10/2023).
Even though restrictions have been implemented, so far the rice stock at Alfamart still looks quite large. In fact, special rice shelves are still filled with various types of premium rice.
Not only at Alfamart, this restriction also occurs in other modern retailers, Bunda. Superindo Metro Sunter also imposes restrictions on purchasing rice. The restriction is clearly written and posted on the shelf, “Purchase of All Variant products Max 2/sack/consumer/day”.
One of the retail officers also confirmed this. He said that this rule applies to all Superindo outlets in Indonesia.
“Yes, now it is limited to two bags per person. “Now we just have to do that (orange wrapper),” he said.
The special premium rice shelves are usually filled with various types of rice. However, currently only one type of premium rice is visible and the rice stock on the shelves also appears empty.
The officer said that recently the rice stock was empty. It’s been about two weeks since the availability of rice has been difficult.
“It’s really empty. Just the orange one now. Usually there’s a lot of rice, but now it’s hard. “I ordered it yesterday and it hasn’t arrived yet,” he said.
This apparently also applies to the Indomaret Sunter outlet, Bunda. Indomaret employees also confirmed that there were restrictions on rice and their stock was starting to run out.
