The long dry season is currently occurring in Indonesia. Various regions have complained about the lack of water supply for daily needs.
Chair of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Prof. Dwikorita Karnawati said that this year’s dry season could last until October or even the end of the year, depending on the region.
As reported by detikEdu, for the Java and Sumatra regions, this long dry season is likely to end until the end of October 2023. Meanwhile for the Nusa Tenggara region, the dry season could last until the end of the year or even the beginning of the year.
One of the best ways to get a water supply with a high flow rate is to make a drilled well. The well driller will look for water points in the ground and drain them.
It’s not surprising that during the long dry season, well drillers can be flooded with orders. However, how much does it cost to make this drilled well?

It turns out that drilling wells varies, depending on the diameter of the pipe and the depth of the drilled well itself. According to detikProperti, as quoted from Harga.web, here are the details:
Cost of drilling a well per meter
The pipe diameter is 4 inches, the cost is IDR 150,000 per meter for jet pump drilling. The pipe diameter is 5 inches, the cost is IDR 300,000 per meter for deep well drilling. 6 inch diameter, costs IDR 500,000 per meter for deep well drilling.
However, this price only includes services. There are additional costs for equipment, pump machines and pipes. The scope of work includes drilling, casing installation, and pump installation.
