Brilio.net – Wild Ground Fest 2023 will be held again on 11 and 12 November 2023. The music festival produced by Starcross, a clothing and apparel brand originally from Jogja, is planned to be located at the Prambanan Temple complex, Yogyakarta.

Not just a music festival, Wild Ground Fest 2023 will present various events that you can take part in over two days. This festival, which was created in collaboration with several communities, is packaged through interactive talk shows, street art exhibitions, skates, photography exhibitions, food and beverage outlets, clothing bazaars, film screenings, and cooking shows from artists.
After successfully holding Wild Ground Fest last year, this festival will be ready to present and present even cooler and more impressive performances. Not only that, if 2022 was only held for one day, Wild Ground Fest 2023 is ready to be held for two days.
Weimpy Adhari, founder of Starcross, stated at a press conference that Wild Ground Fest is an effort to continue to maintain the creative ecosystem in Jogja.
“The hope is that this (Wild Ground Fest 2023) will be a medium for all of our friends to perform. Especially (artists) in Jogja,” said Weimpy in a press conference statement, on Thursday (28/9).

For those of you who enjoy the works of Yogyakarta musicians, Wild Ground Fest 2023 will also continue to feature several local Jogja heroes who will certainly present impressive performances.
There are names like FSTVLST, 20 Miles Marathon, DPMB x Wolf Night, Hang The DJ, Sophie, Bast Cultura, and FN Silk. Not only that, a number of famous bands from Indonesia, namely Rocket Rockers, Pee Wee Gaskins, Bronze, Alone at Last, Hospital, Bangkutaman, Polyester Embassy, Asylum Uniform, and Summerlane will also be visiting Jogja and are ready to be in the line up. the festival is next month.
It doesn’t stop there, if last year’s Wild Ground Fest successfully featured Neck Deep as the headliner, this year the post hardcore-emo band from the United States, namely Saosin, is ready to shock the country’s music public, especially in Yogyakarta.
There is also a Pop-Punk unit from Australia, namely Between You and Me, musician from Malaysia Noh Salleh, and emo trio from Singapore Forest who will be among the international names who are also ready to appear at Wild Ground Fest 2023.
Apart from that, there are still three names that have been kept secret by the organizers. Reportedly this name will be a surprise and worth waiting for.

Sirin Farid Stevy, vocalist of FSTVLST, who was present at the press conference on behalf of the performers, said that Wild Ground Fest 2023, which was completely produced by Yogyakarta creative people, is a legendary event and definitely has character.
“For Wild Ground, I think this is quite a legendary event considering the historical data that Starcross has worked on in the creative ecosystem in Jogja. Then what I believe is that whatever is made by friends in Jogja must have character. So I think friends “There’s no need to be afraid to come to Wild Ground Fest 2023,” said the musician who is also a fine artist.
Wild Ground Fest 2023 itself will start with the Road to WGF pre-event on Sunday, October 1 2023 at Tip Tap Toe, Jalan Palagan, Sleman, DIY. This event will feature a series of names that are no less interesting from within and outside the country. These include Tiny Moving Parts (United States), Dads In The Park (Bangladesh), Leipzig (Bandung), as well as two bands from Yogyakarta, namely Before U and Nood Kink.
With more than 20 line ups planned to be ready to appear, ticket sales for one-day passes and season tickets will be sold separately and announced periodically via the official Instagram account via @wildgroundfest and @starcrossclothing.
