The former Head of the Narcotics Research Unit (Kasat Resnarkoba) of the South Lampung Police (Polres), AKP Andri Gustami is an officer involved in Fredy Pratama’s drug network.
The payment received by AKP Andri Gustami was also not small. AKP Andri Gustami is said to have received payment of up to IDR 800 million to guard Fredy Pratama’s drugs.
The nominal payment received by AKP Andri Gustami was confirmed by Lampung Regional Police Chief Inspector General (Irjen) Helmy Santika.
Inspector General Helmy Santika said that AKP Andri Gustami had helped Fredy Pratama’s network pass 100 kilograms (kg) of methamphetamine through Bakauheni Port, South Lampung.
AKP Andri Gustami is said to have received a payment of IDR 8 million per 1 kilogram.
“TSK AG admitted that he had released around 100 (shabu) during the two months he joined (the Fredy Pratama network). He was given a reward of up to Rp. 8 million per kilogram,” said Inspector General Helmy Santika in a statement given to media crew on Thursday (21 /9).

Inspector General Helmy Santika also said that AKP Andri Gustami had released 100 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and received payment of IDR 800 million for 2 months.
“We are still investigating the TSK AG’s statement,” said Inspector General Helmy Santika.
Inspector General Helmy Santika said that AKP Andri Gustami would receive sanctions in the form of dishonorable dismissal because he was involved in an international drug network.
“The sanction for the person concerned is dishonorable dismissal or PTDH as a member of the National Police, in addition to criminal sanctions which will later be imposed by the court,” said Inspector General Helmy Santika.
“We don’t have selective cutting, this is a deterrent effect and an example so that others don’t follow. This is also in line with the policy of the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit, to take firm action against anyone involved in drug cases, even if they themselves are members of the National Police,” concluded the Inspector General.
