Brilio.net – More than a year and a half after releasing Pop Seblay, Danilla closed the era of his third full album with a special performance entitled Pentas Kemilau Pop Seblay. Taking place at the Martha Tiahahu Literacy Park, Blok M, South Newsdelivers.com on Saturday, September 16 2023, this event is free to the public. This performance is a celebration of Danilla’s most cheerful album in his decade-long musical career.
Danilla dedicated the album Pop Seblay and Pentas Kemilau Pop Seblay to his friends and colleagues who always supported him on stage and off.

“This Pop Seblay album was made for the Danilla Success Team, because without them I’m just a market doll who likes dirty talk. “So I made this special album for children, and it’s about them, so I have to close it this way,” said Danilla.
“Pop Seblay is the most intimate album we have ever worked on. “The Kemilau Pop Seblay stage is to immortalize the album with a performance and at the same time remind friends out there that last year there was this album,” added Lafa Pratomo as Danilla’s musical partner and producer of Pop Seblay.
Especially for the Kemilau Pop Seblay Stage, Danilla performed 12 songs from the Pop Seblay album with new arrangements, including the song “KIW” which won the trophy for the Best Alternative Male/Female Solo Artist category at the 2022 AMI Awards. As a bonus, Danilla will also perform several songs from previous albums.

“I think if we bring the same arrangement it won’t be special. “So we dressed up our child again like it was his birthday and bought him new clothes,” said Danilla.
Besides Lafa (guitar), Otta Tarrega (keyboards), Rendi James (guitar), Gallang Perdhana (bass), Edward Manurung (drums), Fadli Rizki (backing vocals) and Nessa Adverta (backing vocals) who usually accompany Danilla on stage , at the Kemilau Pop Seblay Stage they will also be supported by a number of additional musicians to present new arrangements of the Pop Seblay songs on stage.
“We will have percussionists, eight piece strings, plus an eight piece choir. “So it’s quite busy,” said Lafa.
Apart from that, there will be two special guest stars who will also enliven the Kemilau Pop Seblay Stage, namely Teddy Adhitya and Pamungkas. Teddy was chosen because he contributed his vocals to the Pop Seblay album on the song “Fel d 1”, while Pamungkas was invited because of their increasingly close friendship recently.
“Since the beginning of the year we have hung out quite often with Pamungkas. “He just happened to want to, and he wasn’t that busy,” said Lafa regarding Pamungkas who will collaborate on the song “In Nirvana”.
The clothing for all the musicians involved will also be directed by Ben Sihombing, who has carried out this role since the beginning of the Pop Seblay era.
“When this album was first released, Ben actually arranged what Danilla and his team would wear on stage, so we want to stay in line with the concept when this first came out,” said Danilla.
In the end, Danilla hopes that everyone who attends the Kemilau Pop Seblay Stage can enjoy it in an intimate and friendly atmosphere while passing the sunset, and appreciate the people involved in the performance.
“I hope that when they go home they will appreciate the people or artists who are here much more. “Making a show is difficult and will definitely involve a lot of people, and we would all be happy if they could appreciate it by coming and enjoying,” concluded Danilla.
