JAKARTA – The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) of the Republic of Indonesia, Dito Ariotedjo, inaugurated and took the oath of office as Komjen. Pol (Ret). Rudy Sufahriadi as Deputy 3 for Sports Cultivation at Wisma Kemenpora on Monday (11/9/2023). This inauguration is based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 115/TPA of 2023 concerning the dismissal and appointment of high-ranking middle management officials within the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Menpora Dito hopes that the new Deputy for Sports Cultivation will be able to develop sports from a Social Intelligence perspective. Apart from sports achievements at the international level, the Minister of Youth and Sports also emphasized the importance of increasing community participation in sports, in accordance with the 2020-2024 RPJMN. Coordination and synchronization with relevant ministries/institutions is considered important to improve community fitness, especially students.
“In the sports sector, apart from sports achievements at the international level, we also have a performance target, namely increasing community participation in sports as stated in the 2020-2024 RPJMN, so that community fitness, especially student fitness, needs to be continuously improved through coordination and synchronization with the ministry. /relevant institutions,” said Menpora Dito.
Menpora Dito also reminded that Kemenpora’s limited budget management must be carried out effectively, efficiently and accountably. Focusing on priority and superior activity programs, as well as synergy between units and between deputies in implementing activity programs, is considered an important step to achieve the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ targets and the National Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Deputy for Sports Culture, Komjen. Pol (Ret). Rudy Sufahriadi, who previously served as Dankor of Brimob, expressed his readiness to carry out instructions from Menpora Dito. Komjen Rudy replaces Raden Isnanta, who has served as Deputy 3 for Sports Culture at the Ministry of Youth and Sports for seven years and now serves as Deputy 2 for Youth Development at the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Komjen Rudy said that he would continue and implement the programs that had been previously planned, and work together with the team to achieve the same goal.
