Age of normal development of children to pronounce letters
Judging from the Understood page, there are several stages of normal development for children to be able to pronounce letters, Mother. Here’s the review:
Around the age of 2, children begin to recognize some letters and can sing the ‘ABC’ song out loud. Around age 3, children may already recognize about half the letters of the alphabet and begin to associate letters with their sounds. By the time they are 4 years old, children normally know all the letters of the alphabet and their correct order. When they reach kindergarten age, most children can match each letter with the sound it produces.
As time goes by, children also begin to develop other skills. For example, at the age of 2 to 3 years, children know the letters in their name.
When they start school, children will learn upper (capital) and lower case letters. Even though these letters are usually introduced at an early age, quite a few children have difficulty mastering the alphabet, Mother.
Reasons why children have difficulty mastering letters and the alphabet

Often these challenges become part of a child’s language development. However, a child not knowing the alphabet could be a sign of a problem with their language.
