The White House, on Monday (4/9) evening, stated that First Lady Jill Biden was positive for COVID-19.
“After the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19, President Biden underwent a COVID test this evening and the results proved negative,” the statement added.
“The president will undergo regular testing this week and be monitored for symptoms.”
Biden tested positive for COVID-19 on July 21, 2022, but only experienced “very mild symptoms,” the White House said at the time.
At that time Biden had received complete vaccination, including two booster injections. He was then given the anti-viral drug Paxlovid.
Biden tested positive for COVID-19 again on July 30, 2022, just a week after his first infection. (em/rs)
