At the RFP event, Ivan Gunawan will present the golden age of the Majapahit Kingdom when it was led by the Maharani, Tribhuawana Tunggadewi, the Queen who succeeded in conquering the archipelago. In this event, for the first time Igun created his own motif.
“After 20 years of work, this is the first time I have created my own motif,” said Ivan Gunawan, in a statement received by Suara.com.

Ivan Gunawan absorbed the glory days of Majapahit and transformed them into today’s modern fashion lifestyle. The design takes the form of high fashion evening dresses with Ivan Gunawan’s distinctive character, namely red carpet look, celebrity aura, glamor and sexy.

All designs use one color, namely gold, then decorated with crystal ornamentation and crystal fringe arranged in sparkling decorative arrangements.
Elements of the Majapahit queen’s clothing such as kemben and stagen that fit the body were translated into a bustier maillot, or bathing suit. The maillot bustier is paired with a long fit dress made of transparent lace, there is also a transparent cape dress, then with a pair of palazzo pants and a blouse with puffy bubble sleeves. Then with a tiered ruffle skirt which is overlaid again with a corset. This bustier itself was created to be able to mix and match with every element in this collection.
All designs are timeless, breaking the boundaries of trends, so they will be able to continue to be used in the future. Among the lace materials used, there are two materials with motifs created by Ivan Gunawan himself, namely the Kipas Renjana motif (Renjana: Love, passion and longing), in the form of an arrangement of repetitive fans with gradual sizes. And the Suvarna Fern motif (Suvarna: Gold), in the form of tendrils stretching upwards to reach beautiful hopes.
