Suara.com – It turns out that many officials don’t know about Pertalite’s plan to be removed from the list of fuel oil (BBM) sold by PT Pertamina (Persero).
For example, the Head of the Fiscal Policy Agency (BKF) of the Ministry of Finance, Febrio Kacaribu, said that his party had not discussed this discourse.
“That has not been discussed,” said Head of the Fiscal Policy Agency (BKF) Febrio Kacaribu at the DPR RI Complex, Senayan, Central Newsdelivers.com, Monday (4/9/2023).
Just so you know, Pertalite itself is still a fuel that receives subsidies, so this subsidy budget is prepared by the Ministry of Finance as state treasurer.

Febrio also emphasized that there had been no discussion regarding incentives in the form of exemption from customs duties on bioethanol used for the raw material Pertamax Green 92, which is a potential substitute for Pertalite.
PT Pertamina (Persero) plans to phase out Pertalite fuel next year.
Instead, Pertamina will launch Pertamax Green 92, a fuel mixture of Pertalite and ethanol.
“Therefore, in 2024, we ask for your support. We will also release what we call Pertamax Green 92, actually we mix Pertalite with ethanol, increasing the octane from 90 to 92,” said Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati at Commission VII Newsdelivers.com, Wednesday (30/ 8/2023).
In this way, next year Pertamina will only sell three products, namely Pertamax Green 92, Pertamax Green 95 and Pertamax Turbo.

“Pertamax Green 92 mixes (RON) 90 with 7% ethanol, we call it e7, second, Pertamax Green 95 mixes Pertamax with 8% ethanol, third, Pertamax Turbo,” he said.
Nicke revealed that the elimination of 90 octane fuel was to continue the Blue Sky Program which had previously removed Premium.
“We are continuing this in accordance with the plan for the second phase of the Blue Sky program in which we increase the fuel subsidy from RON 90 to RON 92,” he said.
