Almost three decades later, his second son finally returned to Bangkok. His appearance caused quite a stir, many suspected that the arrival of the King’s second son was aimed at strengthening his position as the King’s successor.
This allegation is also inseparable from the condition of the royal family. The eldest daughter of the King of Thailand has been hospitalized since last December. In January, the palace said that Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavat had severe heart arrhythmia due to inflammation following an infection.
In a recent statement in January, the palace said he remained unconscious and doctors continued to administer medication and use equipment to support the function of his heart, lungs and kidneys. However, until now, there has been no information from the kingdom regarding the line of royal succession.
Vacharaesorn said he received a warm welcome
Since his arrival, Vajiralongkorn’s second son is known to have traveled around Bangkok and visited historical places such as Wat Phra Kaew, a temple on the grounds of the Grand Palace, the city, and a child care center for underprivileged families. After a few days his younger brother also came to follow him.
Vacharaesorn told the media that he had received a warm welcome from everyone after his long absence.
“I’ve been gone a long time, 27 years. It’s a dream come true that I’m back. “When I looked out the window before landing, I was very happy,” he said, quoted from The Guardian page, Saturday (2/9/2023).
He also said that he had never forgotten his homeland, even though he had lived in England for a long time, Mother.
“Even though I have been abroad for a long time, I never forget that I am Thai. “I never forget how important our culture is,” he continued.
