The Indonesian diaspora in the Washington DC area is preparing to commemorate the 79th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. Various events will be held, as well as commemorating 75 years of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and the United States. VOA journalist Virginia Gunawan reports from Washington DC for TVRI.
