HANGZHOU – Head of PBSI’s Development and Achievement Division, Rionny Mainaky, gave an important message to Indonesian badminton players who will compete in the 2023 BWF World Championships (WTF). He emphasized maintaining the fitness and health of athletes.
It was not without reason that Rionny conveyed this message, because the weather in Hangzhou, China, was rainy and cold. The potential for catching flu is also felt to be vulnerable if you are not self-aware.
“My most important message is to maintain health. The weather here is rainy and cold, so don’t catch flu and so on,” said Rionny in a release received Monday (11/12/2023).
As is known, BWF WTF 2023 will take place starting Wednesday (13/12/2023). The location of the tournament is at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Hangzhou, China.
The Red and White Team itself has arrived in China since Sunday (10/12/2023). They started trying out the field and adapting to training today, Monday (11/12/2023).
Rionny said that the preparation process for his troops was going smoothly. They practice and perfect their shots and rallies for maximum results in the match.
Apart from today, athletes will also have the opportunity to try out the field again on Tuesday (12/12/2023). This adaptation is considered important so that it doesn’t become awkward later.
Moreover, the temperature in China is also different from Indonesia. However, in general Rionny reported that the condition of his troops was in top condition.
