Mother with the account @xyliaxylio opened a tweet with a limited disclosure of the company where she works. He is known to work for a big brand whose products are aimed at women.
“A big brand that targets women with the aim of putting women first but doesn’t humanize its employees, most of whom are women,” he wrote, opening the thread.
Threatened to be dismissed
When she wanted to take leave at the end of this year, Mother with the account @xyliaxylio had to swallow the bitter pill because her position was demoted from permanent employee to freelance. Not only that, his superiors also threatened him with being dismissed from the company, Bunda.
“Currently I am 7 months pregnant. I plan to go on maternity leave at the end of this year. The brand owner knows because he has confirmed to HR about this, but deliberately issued an order to reduce my position as a Permanent Employee to Freelance so as not to fulfill my right to “I’m on maternity leave. In another upload, this mother showed a screenshot of a chat with her boss who was known to be a woman. The contents of the chat accused this mother of carrying out ‘drama’. At the end of the chat, the boss openly threatened to fire the employee from work.
“There was drama after this, I cut it completely. So you understand where you are,” reads the chat snippet in the screenshot.
According to Mother @xyliaxylio, the chat was not directed directly at her, but in groups and public spaces. “He did this in groups and public spaces, never in person.”

The suspicion started from a misunderstanding
Mother @xyliaxylio explained the misunderstanding that had occurred between her and her superior. According to him, that is where all this conflict started.
“All of this started because of a misunderstanding and his ego as the owner of the company. I am a graphic designer. Usually the designs I make will be checked by a design consultant for suitability for broadcast. But at that time the brand owner wanted to see the results of the design directly,” he said.
“Here I thought it was over because from the start he didn’t give the impression that he was angry or didn’t like me. There was no discussion about revision at all. But the next day he suddenly exploded & said that I didn’t respect him. Turning him against each other with a design consultant & assessed that I didn’t follow his orders as the brand owner and he was like that in other people’s personal chats which I didn’t know at first,” he continued.
Mother @xyliaxylio tried to revise, hoping to cool the atmosphere. However, everything was in vain. The boss actually changed his work assignments with different responsibilities than before.
Several co-workers helped him ask his superiors about the reason. However, they were accused of defending him and he was accused of doing something wrong.
“I also did the revision on the same day because in the afternoon we were busy discussing the UTJ that he requested. I got the information about the revision when he called another staff member if he wanted a revision. When I got this information I tried to keep working on the revision, hoping that his anger would subside.” ” he said.
“When discussing UTJ, for some reason he tried to change my job desk to become a content creator who takes care of everything from content, design, captions, to being responsible for live backgrounds, outfits and props. At the beginning I was a little hesitant because my basic role is design. Some of my co-workers just asking why I was treated like that because several divisions still needed graphic design. This actually made them accused of defending me & said I was playing politics here and there to get a defense that I didn’t even know about.”
At the end of the thread, this woman admitted that she had tried to give in. Until finally he accepted all the decisions of his superiors.
“I have tried to give in, to the point of apologizing and accepting all the decisions about jobdesk transfers, but he still feels that I must be wrong and lose so that he knows better the position that he is the highest of all,” he said.
