Radja Nainggolan revealed his reasons for joining Bhayangkara FC. The former AS Roma player said that he missed football.
The Batak-blooded player will wear the Bhayangkara FC uniform until the end and has the option of extending his contract. The last club the 35 year old player played for was SPAL, whose contract ends in July 2023.
Until finally, after approximately five months of not playing, Radja Nainggolan decided to join Bhayangkara FC. While still without a club, Radja Nainggolan thought about hanging up his boots, aka retiring.
To the point, he said that he received many offers from property agents. It is even difficult for him to get offers from clubs who want to use his services.
“In the last few months I have been contacted by more than a hundred real estate agents. But when there was a push to retire, it suddenly became very difficult to get proposals on paper,” said Nainggolan, reported by Gazet van Antwerpen, Friday (1/12 /2023).
“When I saw the efforts the club wanted to make to sign me, I didn’t have the slightest doubt,” continued Nainggolan.
Radja Nainggolan did not hesitate to choose Bhayangkara FC because he admitted that he missed playing football. This 35 year old player can’t even wait to taste the atmosphere of Indonesian football, his country of origin.
“After a few months I really started to miss football. I still really enjoy myself when I’m on the pitch. And I’m really looking forward to doing that in Indonesia now. I’ve had a great few weeks here and I’m looking forward to “exploring my home country further,” added Radja Nainggolan.
