Suara.com – Frets Butuan will no longer strengthen Persib Bandung in the remainder of the second round of BRI Liga 1 after the 27 year old player decided to resign for personal reasons.
As reported by the official Persib Bandung website, Wednesday (29/11/2023), Frets resigned due to duties and had to go to Ternante so he would no longer strengthen Maung Bandung in the remainder of the second round of BRI Liga 1.

As is known, Frets has been in Persib uniform since 2019. In five seasons strengthening Maung Bandung, he recorded 11 goals and 10 assists in 91 matches.
Frets admitted that it was difficult to make this decision. According to him, there are many moments that are difficult for him to forget while wearing the Persib uniform.
“Finally today I made a very difficult decision at Persib, I am very sad, this separation is heavy on my heart, it is difficult to make this decision that I have moved from Persib and I will look for a new atmosphere,” said Frets.
“I would like to thank this team who has worked with me for five seasons, five seasons that have been memorable for me,” he continued.
“I am really loved by all my friends, coaches, management,” he said.
For Frets, his best moment with Persib was when he scored the first goal in the big match against Persija Newsdelivers.com in BRI Liga 1 2019. At that time he scored the opening goal in a 2-0 win at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali.
Frets’ second unforgettable moment was when he scored the first goal at home in front of loyal Persib supporters, Bobotoh. This goal was scored in the same season against Arema FC at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreang, Bandung Regency.
“The most memorable were many matches, but the most memorable was in 2019 scoring goals against Arema and Persija, for Persija it was my first goal at Persib, then against Arema the first goal was with Bobotoh at the stadium,” he concluded.
Collecting 38 points, Persib currently occupies second place in the BRI Liga 1 standings. Maung Bandung is six points adrift of Borneo FC who is firmly at the top.
