Suara.com – Bojan Hodak, coach of Persib Bandung, fulfilled his promise by paying special attention to three Indonesian national team players and one defender from the Philippines, Daisuke Sato, ahead of the BRI Liga 1 follow-up match against PSM Makassar.
In the 21st week of the BRI Liga 1 match, Persib will host PSM Makassar at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium, Bandung, Monday (4/12/2023).
In preparation for this big match, Bojan Hodak ‘spoiled’ four players labeled as national teams.
Marc Klok, Rachmat Irianto and Edo Febriansyah, Indonesian national team personnel and defender from the Philippines, Daisuke Sato, all received special attention from the Persib coach.
Bojan Hodak ‘spoiled’ the four players who had just strengthened the Indonesian National Team and the Philippine National Team in the November international break in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in the Asian zone.
Even though they were busy with international schedules, they returned to join Persib without rest, unlike players who were not called up to the national team.
However, Hodak made a little concession ahead of the match against PSM.
Coach Bojan Hodak gave the four players a holiday after the 5-1 victory over Dewa United in the 20th match last weekend.

They were absent in training at Sidolig Stadium as promised by Hodak.
“After the last match between the Indonesian and Philippine National Teams, I immediately called them back to prepare to face Dewa United,” said Bojan Hodak as quoted by Persib’s official website.
“However, after that I promised to give them three days off because previously they didn’t have much time off,” he explained.
Apart from them, Frets Butuan and Robi Darwis also did not join Persib’s training ahead of the match against PSM. Robi Darwis was loaned to Dewa United, while Frets Butuan changed duties and was released by Persib.
