Suara.com – Ganjar Pranowo volunteers who are members of the United Sugar Cane Farmers (Petebu) Ganjar held Petebu Cares activities through mutual cooperation in building reservoirs or water reservoirs, in Sindangsari Village, Cigedug District, Garut Regency, West Java (Jabar).
West Java Petebu Regional Coordinator M Ridwan said that every day residents usually transport water long distances for agriculture and other needs.
So, the existence of this reservoir can make things easier for residents.
“Because here the water is usually brought from below, to make it easier for the community, water reservoirs have been built. “The water source is far away, so this was created so that the community is facilitated for agricultural irrigation and other things,” he explained, writing Monday (27/11/2023).
Ridwan said that the community’s enthusiasm for this mutual cooperation activity was very high.
This can be seen from the large number of residents who came together to build the embung.
“This enthusiasm for mutual cooperation was instilled in us from Petebu Ganjar, where we are very united. “Alhamdulillah, the response and enthusiasm was very high,” he said.
Meanwhile, one of the Jaelani residents expressed his gratitude for the presence of Petebu Ganjar who had helped the residents get water.
“Alhamdulillah, we welcome Pak Ganjar’s volunteers. “Hopefully in the future we can work together, with this cooperative effort it will really help residents who lack water,” said Jaelani.
The Petebu Cares program this time also provided assistance to residents in Garut by creating an Al-Quran Education Park (TPA) in Giriawas Village and creating a sports field in Sukawangi Village.
