JAKARTA – The use of technology is something that can no longer be avoided in every line of life. Including the grand police security strategy for 2025 – 2045 which is currently being prepared, it is directed at the appropriate use of technology.
This was conveyed by the Commissioner of Kompolnas RI, Muhammad Dawam, when asked to deliver a speech at the graduation process for STMIK AMIKBandung students, Saturday (25/11/2023).
What he said was obtained from the results of Kompolnas’ supervision of the preparation of a grand security strategy by the National Police for the next 20 years. “That’s the trend. “Not only in our police force at home, but also police forces in other countries,” said Dawam.
Dawam himself admitted that he is currently conducting research on the National Police’s security strategy for super priority tourist attractions which are being developed by the Government. According to him, the use of technology is absolutely necessary. “For this reason, we at Kompolnas encourage us, together with the National Police Headquarters Asrena and Bapenas, to sit together, formulate how the use of technology in security by the National Police can run optimally,” said Dawam.
Today, 159 STMIK AMIkBandung students from the Information Systems and Information Management study program graduated. In the XXXI graduation ceremony, there were 127 graduates or 80% of the total graduates. He admitted that the recruitment of new graduates started with apprenticeships, in the process of which a match was found between the needs of the business world and the quality of STMIK AMIKBandung graduates. “We at Kompolnas really appreciate the learning process at STMIK AMIKBandung so that it is able to produce quality graduates,” said Dawam.
Head of the Community Service Institute (LPM) STMIK AMIKBandung, Ali Suryaperdana, expressed his pride in the achievement of 80 percent of STMIK AMIKBandung graduates being immediately accepted into the world of work. According to him, this is an acknowledgment of the quality of learning on his campus, as well as an answer that can be given to the Government’s demands that the world of education be able to produce superior workforce. “The demands of stakeholders and the business world in the era of technological progress are indeed the same,” said Ali.
Ali added that the success of STMIK AMIKBandung in producing quality graduates is also proof that the learning process on campus has the right correlation with the needs of the business world. He admitted that the recruitment of new graduates started with apprenticeships, in the process of which a match was found between the needs of the business world and the quality of STMIK AMIKBandung graduates. “So we didn’t just get recruited. “Our students do an internship first and it is during that internship that they show their quality, so that chemistry is built which is continued with recruitment,” said Ali.
Ali added that STMIK AMIKBandung’s achievements in producing quality graduates are also proof that the learning process on its campus has the right correlation with the needs of the business world.
