DUBLIN – The undisputed world champion in super lightweight women’s boxing, Chantelle Cameron promises to complete her task when she has a rematch with Katie Taylor at the 3Arena, Dublin, this weekend. At the first meeting, last May, Cameron succeeded in giving Taylor his first professional defeat (22-1, 6KO).
Yes, in the same place as the rematch later, Cameron scored a majority decision victory over the undisputed champion in the lightweight class. Cameron is determined to repeat that victory for the second time.
“I always knew I was wrong to face Katie Taylor. That’s why I always wanted this fight. Nothing has changed now. I think all that has changed is that Katie will come in desperate for revenge, and I come in knowing that I can beat her ,” said Cameron, as quoted by Sky Sports.
“And I beat him not on my best night either. So I come there full of confidence knowing that this will be a more convincing win for me. The blueprint is there, but I’ll make sure it’s better this time,” continued boxer with a record of 18-0 (8KO).
It is not without reason that Cameron is optimistic that he can achieve a more convincing victory. The reason is, she is in the best condition, and everything she has done while in the gym has been too much for Katie Taylor. According to him, he will not give Katie Taylor a chance.

“I was too stubborn, my work rate was too high, I was too strong and I was too big. I know that I have never been fitter,” said the 32-year-old woman.
“I’m going to beat her like a rash. Last May 20 I was in awe of Katie Taylor. This time I’m not in awe of her. I beat her, so now I come here, defend my belt, and for me, it means more that I strengthen my own career,” he explained.
“I know that this can open doors for me. I will go in there full of hatred and aggression, because I know that I just have to finish my job here,” concluded the owner of the nickname Il Capo.
