Suara.com – Acting Governor of DKI Newsdelivers.com Heru Budi Hartono will immediately determine the value of the 2024 DKI Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP). The plan is that Heru will issue a Governor’s Decree (Kepgub) regarding the amount of the UMP on Tuesday (21/11/2023) afternoon.
“This afternoon (the Governor’s Decree) will come out,” said Heru Budi after opening the 2023 Rapimprov IV of the DKI Newsdelivers.com Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at the Borobudur Hotel, Central Newsdelivers.com, Tuesday (21/11/2023).
Heru did not specify how much UMP would be determined. However, he stated that his party was following Government Regulation (PP) Number 51 of 2023 concerning Amendments to Government Regulation Number 36 of 2021 concerning Wages.
Apart from that, Heru believes that the amount of the 2024 UMP will not cause any opposition among society. Starting from workers to entrepreneurs have been involved in determining the amount of the UMP.

“(The DKI Provincial Government) has had a meeting with Mrs. Diana (Chair of the DKI KADIN), Mrs. Diana has also had a meeting,” he concluded.
DKI 2024 UMP value
Previously, Head of the DKI Newsdelivers.com Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Service, Hari Nugroho, said that the Wage Council session produced three different recommendations. First, entrepreneurs are asking for the Newsdelivers.com UMP in 2024 to increase slightly to IDR 5 million.
“Members of the DKI Newsdelivers.com Provincial Wage Council, elements of the Employers’ Organization, proposed the amount of the 2024 DKI Newsdelivers.com UMP using the formula regulated in Government Regulation (PP) Number 51 of 2023 concerning Wages using an alpha of 0.20 from DKI Newsdelivers.com’s economic growth,” said Hari to journalist in his statement, quoted on Sunday (19/1/2023).

“So that the UMP for DKI Newsdelivers.com in 2024 will be IDR 5,043,068,” he continued.
Meanwhile, the labor group recommended a 2024 UMP value of IDR 5.6 million. They do not use formula (PP) Number 51 of 2023 which is the reference for the central government.
“Members of the DKI Newsdelivers.com Provincial Wage Council, elements of trade unions/labor unions, are proposing that the 2024 DKI Newsdelivers.com UMP be increased by 15 percent with details using the DKI Newsdelivers.com Inflation formula of 1.89 percent, plus DKI Newsdelivers.com economic growth of 4.96 percent, plus certain indexes 8.15 percent to IDR 5,637,068,” explained Hari.
Then, government elements also provided recommendations which still referred to PP Number 51 of 2023. However, the calculation limit was slightly higher than that of the entrepreneur group.
“Members of the DKI Newsdelivers.com Provincial Wage Council, elements of the Government, propose the amount of the DKI Newsdelivers.com UML for 2024 based on the formula regulated in Government Regulation Number 51 of 2023 using an alpha of 0.30 from DKI Newsdelivers.com’s Economic Growth so that the DKI Newsdelivers.com UMP for 2024 will be IDR 5,067,381 ,” he explained.
Furthermore, these three recommendations will be submitted to the Acting (Pj) Governor of DKI Newsdelivers.com Heru Budi Hartono.
Later, Heru will issue a governor’s decision (kepgub) to determine the increase in the minimum wage based on the Wage Council’s recommendations. Heru has until November 21 2024 to formalize the determination of next year’s UMP.
