Suara.com – Asus ROG Phone 8 Ultimate is a gaming cellphone with fierce features and specifications. The Geekbench listing reveals that the Asus ROG Phone 8 Ultimate will have 24 GB RAM.
The popular benchmarking platform has managed to reveal the chipset, RAM, and software of the top model of the Asus ROG Phone 8 series. For information, the Asus ROG Phone 8 series is the successor generation to the Asus ROG Phone 7 series.
Quoted from Gizmochina and MySmartPrice, the Asus ROG Phone 8 will rely on 24 GB RAM and pack a premium chipset from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This Asus gaming cellphone delivers impressive performance on Geekbench. The device scored a single-core performance test of 2,235 points and a multi-core performance test of 7,098 points.
The Geekbench listing confirms that it runs the Android 14 operating system with a custom ROG UI interface. Please note, the Asus ROG Phone 7 will debut on the global market in May 2023. There is a possibility that the Asus ROG Phone 8 series could arrive in Q1 or Q2 2024.
Previously, the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate (ASUS_AI2401_A) was registered on the 3C certification site with a 67 W fast charging feature. The Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, which launched in April 2023, has Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 16 GB RAM. If the leaks are correct, 24 GB RAM is a big upgrade on the Asus ROG Phone 8 Ultimate.

ROG Phone 8 (ASUS_AI2401_A) and ROG Phone 8 Pro (ASUS_AI2401_E) also recently appeared in the IMEI database. The device is expected to feature an AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate and large internal storage.
As a reminder, the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate has a 6.78 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels with a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The screen features include support for 1 billion colors, HDR10+, brightness up to 1500 nits, and a protective layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The Ultimate variant has a 2-inch OLED screen on the back with the signature ROG logo. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Ultimate is believed to retain the secondary OLED screen on the back like its predecessor. Another leak of Asus ROG Phone 8 Ultimate features may appear next month.
