GAZA – Spokesperson for the Izzudin Al Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaidah, revealed that the ground fighting between the Hamas militia and Israeli soldiers was fierce and intensifying. He also stated that Hamas succeeded in deceiving the Israeli troops until they chose to withdraw and ask for help.
“Our Mujahideen were able to target 62 military vehicles, including 10 army vehicles,” said Abu Ubaidah, in a statement reported by the X account, @Avolanza. “Our Mujahideen are still involved in fierce clashes on several battlefields around Gaza,” he said.
Ubaidah revealed that Hamas soldiers carried out a number of special operations against enemy forces, which resulted in the deaths of many Israeli soldiers. “We targeted the Zionist troop carrier with an Al-Yassin missile, hit it directly, and three soldiers came out of there and our Mujahideen targeted them,” he said.
As told by Ubaidah, Hamas soldiers heard the screams of enemy soldiers and they asked for help. “We carried out an ambush on foot troops in southwest Gaza on Saturday,” he explained.
In addition, Ubaidah explained that Hamas militias targeted the troop carrier and attacked it directly. “Three soldiers came out and we immediately took them out with anti-personnel rockets,” he said.
Later, Al-Qassam also ambushed the enemy while they were waiting for the rescue team, and caused many deaths of no less than 7 Israeli soldiers.
“The goal of the invaders in this war is to destroy and kill civilians alone,” explained Ubaidah. “The state of confusion and panic in the enemy’s policy in dealing with their crimes is an indication that they are not sure they can win. Their aggression will be broken, and our will will not be broken!”
Further, 25 elite Al-Qassam forces carried out a combined attack on enemy forces at Al-Rantisi Hospital, destroying a tank and a troop carrier, and killing four enemy soldiers. “One of our mujahideen was martyred in the attack we carried out against the enemy forces hiding in Rantisi Hospital,” explained Ubaidah.
