JAKARTA – Sending high quality HD (hidh definition) videos via the WhatsApp application is now easier via Android.
The following are the steps for sending HD videos on WhatsApp on Android devices summarized from various sources, Monday (20/11/2023):
1. Open the WhatsApp Application
Start by opening the WhatsApp application on your Android device.
2. Select Contacts or Groups
Select the contact or group to share the HD video with. Select from the contact list or search for the contact name at the top of the screen.
3. Select Camera Button
At the bottom of the screen, tap the camera button to open the camera function on the device.
4. Record or Select Video from Gallery
Users now have two choices, namely recording a new video or selecting a video that is already in the device gallery. If you want to record a new video, tap the record button in the middle of the screen. If you want to select a video from the gallery, tap the gallery icon next to the record button.
5. Pay attention to the HD Icon
Before pressing the “Send” button, pay attention to the top of the screen, you will see an HD icon on the right side of the screen. Tap this icon to select HD video quality. After clicking on the HD icon, you will see the option to select HD video quality. Select the option according to your preferences.
6. Kirim Video HD
After selecting HD video quality, users can add text or other captions if desired. After that, press the “Send” button to send the HD video to the selected contacts or groups.
