Suara.com – A number of village organizations that are members of the United Village Movement implicitly expressed support for Prabowo-Gibran. They even invited Gibran Rakabuming Raka to a friendly event which was claimed to be attended by 15 thousand village heads or village heads at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Newsdelivers.com, Sunday (19/11/2023).
After attending the event, Gibran, who was accompanied by his wife Selvi Ananda, was reluctant to discuss support. The eldest son of President Joko Widodo or Jokowi claims that he prefers to think about the aspirations expressed by the village heads at the event.

“If it’s a problem, we’ll just support it later, we’ll find the best solution first, we’ll absorb what the problem is first. If it’s support, we’ll just support it later as we go along,” said Gibran.
In the near future, Gibran admitted that he wanted to hold a meeting with representatives of the village organization. This meeting was intended to discuss their aspirations in more detail.
“We schedule it for next week so we can find the best solution to the existing problems,” he said.
Invite Gibran
The General Chair of the United Village Movement, Asri Anas, previously claimed that this event was attended by around 15 thousand village heads and village officials. Tens of thousands of people are members of eight of the nine village organizations.
The reason Asri invited Gibran was because he and Prabowo were a presidential and vice presidential candidate pair who claimed to accommodate the aspirations of the village heads.
However, Asri stated that his party would not explicitly declare or express support for Prabowo-Gibran. Because according to village regulations, being a state civil servant (ASN) is prohibited.

“You don’t have to declare it. Friends know better how it works,” said Asri at the Indonesia Arena, GBK, Newsdelivers.com, Sunday (19/11/2023).
At the event, several elites from the political party the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), which supports Prabowo-Gibran, were also present. One of them is the General Chair of the Crescent Star Party (PBB) Yusril Ihza Mahendra.
Then there were also the Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani, Deputy Chair of the Gerindra Party Advisory Board Mochamad Iriawan alias Iwan Bule, Member of the Gerindra Party Advisory Board Andre Rosiade, Chairman of the Golkar Party Bapilu Nusron Wahid, 98 activist and former PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) politician. Budiman Sudjatmiko to Chairman of the DPP of the Indonesian Village Government Association (APDESI) Surta Wijaya.
