Suara.com – Something unexpected happened at the concert of the British band, Bring Me The Horizon or BMTH, on the first day in Newsdelivers.com. BMTH did not finish the setlist and left the stage in the middle of the concert, Saturday (10/11/2023) evening.
The audience initially thought that Oliver Sykes and friends were just taking a break. But until 30 minutes had passed, their performance had not started again.
The promoter finally announced something surprising. Ravel Entertainment boss, Ravel Junardi, came on stage. He told the audience that the actions of Oli, the nickname of the BMTH vocalist, and other personnel could not continue.
Many speculations have emerged regarding the BMTH concert not being able to continue. One of them is the problem of venues that are less safe for bands and audiences.
Originally, the second day of the BMTH concert at Ancol Beach City International Stadium, Ancol, North Newsdelivers.com, would be held today, Sunday (11/11/2023). But until now there has been no announcement whether they will still be on stage or not tonight.
So far, the promoter, via his social media account, has only announced that he will take responsibility for last night’s incident.
“Ravel Entertainment will be responsible for any deficiencies in the main performer’s set list on the first day of the show,” it was announced.
“Further information will be announced soon. We thank you for your support and attention,” he continued.
Meanwhile, Saosin as the opening band for BMTH has confirmed that they will continue to perform tonight. This was announced on the band’s social media accounts.
“See you tonight!” he wrote.
Kemal Palevi’s testimony
Comic and actor Kemal Palevi was one of the witnesses to the BMTH concert being stopped last night. Via Instagram, he suspected that the concert was stopped because the stage was shaking so much.
“Suddenly @bringmethehorizon pulled out in the middle of the show, because he said it was for security reasons. The venue was really shaking really badly. Especially during the songs ‘Can You Feel My Heart’ and ‘Shadow Moses’. Wow, it was really shaking from FOH, it was really scary. ,” said Kemal Palevi.
Seeing these conditions, Kemal Palevi understood that Oli’s action could not be continued.
“And we’re all on the second floor again. It’s really not safe. So I understand why this show had to stop. I really couldn’t breathe. Hopefully there will be good news about this incident,” Kemal continued.
Kemal further said that the number of spectators was also very large. According to him, this made the audience feel less comfortable enjoying the concert.
“I’ve never watched a concert, in the middle of taking a break. It was so hot. Many people even fainted. And the audience was so crowded, the medic couldn’t get in,” said Kemal Palevi.
