AC Milan will play a crucial match when they host Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the fourth match of the 2023/2024 Champions League Group F phase at the San Siro, Wednesday (8/11/2023) early morning WIB. The hosts will be aiming for their first win while maintaining their chances of surviving in the European club competition.
It’s not just wins. Milan will also use this match as the start of a revival after failing to secure victory in the last four matches, including when they were defeated by PSG in the first meeting of the Champions League Group F phase with a score of 0-3.
In the last four matches (one draw and three defeats), Milan was only able to score two goals and conceded seven goals. Of course, that is not a good record for Stefano Pioli’s team.
Moreover, Milan risks being eliminated from the Champions League if they lose against PSG early this morning. The reason is, currently the Rossoneri have only scored two points from two draws and one defeat.
This minor record puts Milan in last place in Group F. Meanwhile, PSG occupies the top position by picking up six points from two wins and one loss.
In contrast to Milan, PSG entered the match with four consecutive wins in all competitions. Interestingly, Les Parisiens always score three goals in every match.
Now Luis Enrique’s men are aiming for a fifth win in a row against the Italian side. Will PSG’s plans come true?
