Suara Denpasar – Marselino Ferdinan recently expressed his feelings when he learned that there would be additional naturalized players to strengthen the Indonesian National Team.
Where, PSSI through its General Chair Erick Thohir announced that there would soon be additional players who are currently still undergoing the naturalization process.
The player in question is Justin Hubner, a 20 year old Dutch national.
Erick Thohir said that Justin Hubner’s naturalization process was still in the final stages.
“After further discussions, the naturalization process for one of the Dutch-born players who has Indonesian blood, Justin Quincy Hubner, is still in the final stages,” wrote Erick Thohir, quoted by Suara Denpasar, Monday (6/11/2023).
Justin Hubner will soon be able to defend the Indonesian National Team after there is a decision from the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the taking of the oath.
“Next, we just have to wait for the President’s decision and the taking of the oath of citizenship for the Republic of Indonesia,” he wrote again.
Erick Thohir also hopes that the stages that Justin Hubner will go through will run smoothly.
“Hopefully all stages will run smoothly to advance Indonesian football,” he continued.
Knowing this news, Marselino Ferdinan, who is a regular player for the Indonesian National Team, expressed his feelings.
Through the comments column of the upload, Marselino Ferdinan admitted that he could not wait for Justin Hubner to appear to defend the Indonesian National Team.
“Can’t wait,” he wrote.
As is known, so far the Indonesian National Team has had a number of naturalized players such as Marc Klok, Stefano Lilipaly, Elkan Baggott, Sandy Walsh, Shayne Pattynama, Jordi Amat, Rafael Struick and Ivar Jenner. (*/Dinda)
