This film had actually been in the works for quite a long time before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. However, production of this film had to be postponed due to changes in the scenario.
The reason is, Pretty Asmara, who plays a role in this film, cannot take part in the shooting process anymore because she has been summoned by the Creator.
Daniel Tito, producer and screenwriter of Start Up Never Give Up, also revealed his biggest challenge in completing this film when one of the actors was no longer able to continue the shooting process.

In this film, Pretty Asmara plays the role of a potential investor who wants to fund Doni’s Online Taxi Start Up business, played by Rifky Balweel. Apart from that, Pretty Asmara is also Rafi’s younger sister, played by Ikram Hamzah.
